Global Event Supplies is a specialist wholesaler who caters for professional decorators in the events, weddings and venue industry.

We source specifically for the above industries to save you time looking through non-related product lines.

Our event-experienced staff can assist with custom sourcing for your specific requirements if you require something available on our website. We work closely with many importers and have access to thousands of products already in Australia.

We can also import specifically for your business. Expect a timeframe of 3-4 months and a minimum order of 200+ items. 

We only sell to businesses and we sell at wholesale prices. Therefore a minimum order of $200 plus GST applies to all orders. Freight is additional.

How long does it take?

Please allow 10-12 working days. We are unable to guarantee delivery on time for orders made less than 12 working days prior to the event.

Our products are stored in different warehouses around Australia and with our suppliers. This means that products that are not stored in our main warehouse have to be dispatched from these warehouses to our main warehouse before they are dispatched to you. This takes around 6-9 working days but keeps the prices down by about 25%, a saving we pass onto you. 

If you have an urgent order please contact us as we may be able to assist, some products we can deliver in a much shorter timeframe.

We ask that our customers understand that timely delivery is reliant on the performance of courier companies over which Global Event Supplies have no control.

Samples

As a wholesaler we endevour to keep our prices as low as possible for our costumers, therefore we are unable to supply samples.

In some cases we are able to assist with samples for orders over $1,500 if the timeline allows for 3 weeks for delivery of the samples and a further 2 weeks for the delivery of the full order.

Brokerage

GES sells some items as a broker. As such the availability on the website is listed as per our information at hand. This information is checked and updated constantly but in rare circumstances, due to high voloume transactions, an item may have sold out. Should this be the case we will notify you within 36 hours of your purchase and assist you with sourcing a similar product.

Freight

Australia

The price of all freight is calculated per cubic meter and charged at a flat rate for your convenience.

We use a selection of renowned national couriers. As such, the majority of the time, we are able to track your purchases en route. Please advise if you prefer a certain carrier.

Rest of the world
We are currently investigating the most cost effective way to deliver internationally. Please email us your requests and we will quote freight before your purchase. We are working to finding the most effective solution to this problem.

Refunds

Your satisfaction is our top priority. We are proud of the quality of the products, and the service we offer, and stand by our products. Should you not be happy with the quality of a purchased product, we are more than happy to discuss any dissatisfaction, and work out a solution.

Please choose carefully as we are unable to refund for purchase if you have simply changed your mind. Please send all refund notification to jas@globaleventsupplies.com.au within three days of receipt and we can discuss the easiest solution. Unfortunately goods are sometimes damaged throughout the shipping process. In the event that this occurs, notification of damage must be made to Global Event Supplies within three days from receipt.

Privacy

We respect your privacy and consider all information disclosed to us as confidential. We do not share any details with third parties.

If paying by credit card your information is processed on a secure bank server. We do not have access to your card information, nor do we keep any such information on file if disclosed to us.

Trading Terms

• Payment Terms ~ Pre-payment only. We do not offer accounts or credit.
• Minimum Order ~ $200
• Payment Methods ~ Payment to be made by Electronic Funds Transfer, Visa, MasterCard or Bank Cheque. Credit card purchases carry a fee of 2.5% which is charged by the card provider, not Global Event Suppliers.
• Carton Quantity Orders ~ Products are sold only as per package or carton size as stated in the specific product info page.
• Freight ~ Freight is not included in the cost of goods. Freight is charged on each order, the rate subject to our various carriers’ current rate for "Global Events Supplies". 
• We do not issue monthly statements.
• Dishonoured Cheques ~ Will attract an accounting fee of $15 plus GST.
• Overdue Amounts ~ Goods will not be supplied until payment is made.
• Claims and Discrepancies ~ Must be made in writing directly to Global Event Supplies within 7 days of delivery date quoting invoice number and reasons. No returns are acceptable without "Global Event Supplies " prior approval and delivery instructions for transport. Freight will be charged.
• Estimated Delivery Time ~ Time quoted is subject to possible changes in shipping schedules, strikes, carrier delays, etc. Orders are still valid if delivered late. We aim to deliver within the stipulated timeframe but can take no responsibility for delays caused by suppliers or other parties. A late delivery does not constitute a right of refund or return.  
• Price Changes  ~ All terms and prices are subject to change without prior notice due to unforeseen circumstances such as fluctuations in exchange rates.
• Property and Delivery of Goods ~ The property of the goods passes to the purchaser only after the price of the goods has been paid in full. The risk in the goods passes to the purchaser on dispatch. The price is ex our premises, and includes all amounts charged to this point.
• Availability ~ All products are subject to availability. Products sourced as a broker are supplied as per availability of our suppliers. Global Event Supplies aims to inform the customer of non-available lines purchased within 36 hours. No back orders are possible.
• Right of Refusal ~ "Global Event Supplies" reserves the right to refuse service or credit.
